Nova Tactical
Description
The Benelli Nova is a pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and is marketed for self defense, law enforcement and hunting. Although the Nova has been around for several years, it was also introduced as a new gun at the 2012 SHOT Show because it was fitted with National Firearms Act tactical configurations, meaning it comes with a 14-inch barrel and can be purchased through an authorized Class III Commercial dealer.
The Nova Tactical features a polymer stock and a pistol grip. The Nova Tactical is available with open rifle sights or click-adjustable military-style ghost-ring sights. The barrel is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. The Nova Tactical also includes a push-button shell stop, allowing a chambered shell to be removed without releasing rounds from the magazine.
An optional H20 variant includes nickel plating on the barrel, magazine tube, magazine cap and trigger group for increased corrosion resistance.
