Browning BPS Micro Trap

The Browning Pump Shotgun Micro Trap is, of course, a pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The BPS Micro Trap is one of 12 shotgun variant lines in Browning’s BPS series, but what makes it unique is that it offers a raised comb and engraved receiver with a high polished blue finish.

Features include interchangeable proprietary Invector-Plus brand choke tubes and has a back-bored barrel, a process that increases bore diameter resulting in higher shot velocity, reduced recoil, and more uniform shot patterns. The Micro Trap also features a HiViz ProComp brand fiber-optic front sight that’s brightly colored and easy to see. And lastly it has a magazine cut-off system that allows the shooter to retain shells in the magazine and eject a shell from the chamber without cycling shells from the magazine.

It also shares several features with the BPS line including a bottom ejection port for ambidextrous shooting capabilities. It has Top-Tang safety, which places the safety on the back of the pistol grip where the action-hands thumb naturally falls. And it has a gold colored trigger.

The Browning recommends the BPS Micro Trap for general trap shooting.
