Browning BT-99 Conventional

The Browning BT-99 Conventional is a single-shot break-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Browning introduced the BT-99 line in 1969 and it now has eight variants. The BT-99 Conventional is the standard model of the series.

Features include a blued steel receiver and a walnut stock with a satin finish. It has a back-bored barrel, meaning the bore diameter has been increased. This means less choke constriction is needed in order to achieve an intended shot pattern. It also comes with interchangeable chokes and a Beavertail fore-arm. This style of fore-arm is wider than the standard fore-arm, and may help to absorb recoil.

Optional features include an adjustable cheek-piece (add about $260) and it is available with either a 32″ or 34″ barrel.

Browning recommends the BT-99 for American singles and handicap trap shooting.
