Browning BT-99 White Satin

The Browning BT-99 White Satin model is a single-shot break-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Browning introduced the BT-99 line in 1969 and it now has eight variants. The White Satin is unique in that it features a grade I walnut stock and an ivory front and mid bead sight. It also uses a trap style recoil pad, meaning the pad is pored honeycombed rather than solid. For aesthetics, the White Satin has a silver nitride finished barrel.

Features include a back-bored barrel, meaning the bore diameter has been increased. This means less choke constriction is needed in order to achieve an intended shot pattern. It also comes with interchangeable chokes and a Beavertail fore-arm. This style of fore-arm is wider than the standard fore-arm, and may help to absorb recoil.

An optional feature is an adjustable comb (add about $300) and it is available with either a 32″ or 34″ barrel.

Browning recommends the White Satin for American singles and handicap trap shooting.
