The Colt .380 Mustang Pocketlite is a semi-auto 1911-style pocket pistol chambered for .380 ACP. Although the Colt Mustang was originally produced in the 1980s, it was introduced as a new gun in the 2012 SHOT Show. Weighing in at less than one pound, it is an ideal concealed carry pistol.
The Mustang shares several features to the popular 1911-design such as a all steel design, hammer fired, and a single-action only trigger. However, it is significantly smaller than the standard design. The Mustang has a 2.75-inch barrel, putting its overall length at 5.5 inches, and high profile sights.
