The CZ 452 Style Silhouette is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR. The rifle is intended for competition shooting, specifically metallic silhouette shooting in which participants fire at metal cutouts representing game animals at varying distances. The Style Silhouette is very similar to the CZ 452 American, sharing the same action and barrel, but differing in the stock. The Style Silhouette features a synthetic stock with a raised comb, while the American utilizes a straight-combed Turkish walnut stock.
Like all 452 models, the Style Silhouette has a cold hammer-forged barrel and a trigger that is adjustable for weight of pull. The Style Silhouette’s barrel checks in at 22.5″. The gun has an overall length of 40.8″ and a total weight of 5.9 lbs. The rifle features a detachable magazine with a capacity of five. The Silhouette and Style are actually two separate guns. The only difference is the Silhouette has a blued metal finish, while the Style has a matte nickel finish on all metal surfaces.
Česká zbrojovka translates as “Czech Army”, so it comes as no surprise then that CZ firearms has a long history of supplying weapons to militaries around the globe. The CZ name can be found on a variety of handguns, smallbore and bigbore rifles, military rifles and submachine guns.
