CZ (Ceska Zbrojovka) 452 Ultra Lux

The CZ 452 Ultra Lux is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR. The
Ultra Lux shares many characteristics with the Lux and Special Military
Training Rifle but has a longer barrel, a beechwood stock (as opposed to
the walnut stock on the Lux) with a raised cheek swell and a magazine capacity of 10. As with all CZ 452 models, the Ultra Lux is factory-made with a cold hammer-forged barrel and includes a trigger that can be adjusted for weight of pull. CZ recommends the Ultra Lux for hunting.

The Ultra Lux features a 28.6″ blued barrel to give the rifle an overall length of 46.4″. The Ultra Lux features military-style tangent sights combined with a hooded front sight that is calibrated out to 300 meters, though it’s worth noting that accuracy of the .22 LR cartridge is known to diminish after 219 yards. The Ultra Lux utilizes a manual firing pin block as a safety.

Česká zbrojovka translates as “Czech Army”, so it comes as no surprise then that CZ firearms has a long history of supplying weapons to militaries around the globe. The CZ name can be found on a variety of handguns, smallbore and bigbore rifles, military rifles and submachine guns.
