Franchi 720 Competition

The Franchi 720 Competition is a semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 20 gauge. Since 1868, Franchi has been designing and manufacturing double-barreled and semi-automatic shotguns for sportsmen.

The Competition model uses a gas-operated blowback system, which uses gas produced in firing the shotgun to drive the bolt backwards.

Features include a Twin Shock Absorber (TSA) recoil pad that compresses with the recoil, absorbing the kick and spreading the energy over a wider area of the shooter’s shoulder. The 720’s receiver is made of a lightweight alloy steel and the barrel is made of steel putting it around 5.5 pounds.

Franchi recommends the 720 Competition for competitive or clay shooting.
