The Kel-Tec PF-9 is a small-frame semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm. Kel-Tec developed the PF-9 from the P-11 and the P-3AT. Similar to both, the PF-9 uses a locked-breech system where the backwards force that occurs after a round is discharged is absorbed by a spring instead of the frame. It has a double-action only trigger that sets off the action with a five-pound pull. It has a aluminum frame and composite grip that’s very lightweight putting it around 1.15-pounds loaded. The frame is available in a variety of colors including black, gray and olive drab. It has fixed three-dot sights and a short Picatinny rail for easy mounting of a light or laser. Kel-Tec recommends the PF-9 for concealed carry.
