The Marlin Model 336W is a lever-action hunting rifle chambered in .30-30 Win. The Model 336W is one of five centerfire rifles produced in Marlin’s 336 series.
Features include a 20″ barrel, which puts its overall length at 38.25″, and holds 6 rounds in its tubular magazine. All the metal parts are steel and have a blued finish except for the trigger which is gold-plated. The barrel has undergone Marlin’s patented Micro-Groove rifling, which carves 12 grooves into the bore. The walnut stock has a checkered fore-end and grip. The 336W employs an adjustable folding rear sight and ramp front sight with brass bead, and Wide-Scan brand hood. The 336W is accompanied by a padded nylon sling. A scoped model is available with a 3-9×32 factory-mounted bore sighted scope.
Marlin recommends the Model 336W for hunting large game.
