Marlin Golden 39A

Description

The Marlin Model 39A is a lever-action carbine chambered in .22 Short, .22 Long or .22 LR. The Model 39A is Marlin’s only current .22 lever-action rifle.

The 39A features a 24″ blued barrel and utilizes Micro-groove rifling that carves 16 grooves into the bore. The 39A has an American black walnut stock with checkering on the fore-end and grip. The 39A has an adjustable folding rear sight and ramp front sight with brass bead and Wide-Scan brand hood. The 39A also features a rebounding hammer, meaning that after the trigger strikes the firing pin, it rebounds rearward into a safe immobile position. Marlin claims that the 39A can be fully “disassembled in seconds with only a coin.”

Marlin recommends the Model 39A for general small game hunting and target shooting.
