Ruger New Model Single-Six Blued

The Ruger New Model Single-Six Blued is a large-frame single-action revolver chambered in .17 HMR. It is one of three models in Ruger’s New Model Single-Six, a series of rimfire revolvers. The New Model Single-Six Blued, of course, has a blued finish and is the only model chambered in .17 HMR. The phrase “New Model” references its transfer bar, which is a safety feature that allows users to carry the weapon fully loaded because the bar blocks the hammer from striking the firing pin if the weapon is dropped.

The New Model Six features a barrel length of 6.5″ and overall length of 12″. The New Model Six employs an adjustable rear sight (for wind and elevation), checkered grip panels, and a six-round cylinder.
