Ruger New Model Single-Six Hunter

Description

The Ruger New Model Single-Six Hunter is a large-frame single-action revolver chambered in .22 LR or .22 Mag. It is one of three models in Ruger’s New Model Single-Six series–a series of rimfire revolvers. The New Model Single-Six Hunter is similar to the New Model Single-Six Convertible in that it comes with two cylinders, one for .22 LR and the other for .22 Mag., but how it’s different is it has integral scope mounts.

The name “New Model” references its transfer bar, which is a safety feature that allows users to carry the weapon fully loaded because the bar blocks the hammer from striking the firing pin if the weapon is dropped.

The New Model Single-Six Hunter features stainless steel construction and a 7.5″ barrel that puts the overall length at 13″. The Hunter is equipped with an adjustable rear sight (for wind and elevation) with a front bead sight, black laminate grips, and a 6-round cylinder. It also comes with Ruger scope rings.
