Savage Model 212

The Savage Model 212 is a bolt-action rifled shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The Model 212 is one of 14 rifles in Savage’s Specialty Series. Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The Model 212 features a 22 inch carbon steel blued barrel and a matte black synthetic stock. Additional features include a detachable box magazine, checkered grips and forend, and swivel studs. The Model 212 also utilizes Savage’s AccuTrigger system. This inclusion features a dual-stage trigger design in which the first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism. Once this occurs, the second trigger can be depressed in order to activate the firing pin – the trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull.

The Model 212 is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and is recommended by Savage for general hunting.
