Savage Model 93
Description
The Savage Model 93 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 WMR. The Model 93 is one of nine rifles in Savage’s Magnum Series. Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.
The Model 93 features a blued carbon steel or stainless steel barrel and a wood laminate or synthetic stock. Additional features include a vented fore-end, raised cheekpiece, spiral-fluted barrel, and swivel studs. The 93 also includes Savage’s patented AccuTrigger system. This inclusion features a dual-stage trigger design in which the first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism. Once this occurs, the second trigger can be depressed in order to activate the firing pin – the trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull.
