The Smith & Wesson Model SW1911TFP is a large-frame semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm. S&W is the largest manufacturer of handguns in the US. Headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts, the company was founded in 1852 by Horace Smith and Daniel B. Wesson.
Originally developed by John M. Browning, the 1911 style is ubiquitous among pistols. The 1911 Pro Series features a 5″ barrel and overall length of 8.7″. Like the original, the 1911 Pro Series offers all-stainless steel construction, wood grips, a single-action only trigger, a manual thumb safety, and a grip safety. The 1911 Pro Series also employs a skeletonized trigger and hammer. The 1911 Pro Series utilizes an 10-round magazine.
