The Weatherby SA-08 Waterfowler 3.0 is a semi-automatic hunting shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and 20 gauge. Weatherby is an American gun manufacturer founded in 1945 by Roy Weatherby, headquartered in Paso Robles, California.
The SA-08 Waterfowler 3.0 features barrel lengths of 26″ and 28″, with overall lengths of 46″ and 48″, respectively. The SA-08 Waterfowler 3.0 includes a checkered synthetic stock and forend. In addition, the entire gun is finished in Mothwing Marsh Mimicry camouflage using a both dipping process that adheres the finish directly to metalwork.
The SA-08 Waterfowler 3.0 employs a chrome-lined barrel for superior durability. The SA-08 Waterfowler 3.0 also utilizes a chrome-plated bolt for non-binding movement and increased durability. The SA-08 Waterfowler 3.0 also employs a machined receiver made from aircraft-grade alloys for reduced overall weight. A carrier control button allows the shooter to clear the chamber without unloading the gun completely. The SA-08 also includes a drop-out trigger that can be removed for cleaning. Additional features include a top vent rib, interchangeable choke tubes (IC, M, F), and cut checkering on grip and fore-end.
