Description

The Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 Synthetic is a hunting rifle bolt-action rifle chambered in 15 calibers. The Vanguard Series 2 is similar to the standard Vanguard Synthetic in that it features a cold hammer forged barrel, meaning a machine carefully pushed a mandrel through it to rifle the bore. It makes an accurate and very durable bore.

Otherwise the Vanguard Series 2 Synthetic has a two-stage match trigger system that is adjustable down to 2.5 pounds. Its synthetic stock includes a palm swell for increased shooter control, as well as Griptonite brand grip inserts that offer increased ergonomic and non-slip grip. All metal surfaces are finished in bead-blasted matte blue finish. The Series 2 Synthetic also includes a three-position safety.

It is also available with a stainless steel barrel for an additional $150.
