Weatherby Vanguard Sub-MOA TR

Description

The Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Sub-MOA (Minute of Angle) TR is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .223 Rem. and .308 Win. The Vanguard Synthetic Sub-MOA TR is the premier model of Weatherby’s Vanguard “threat response” line.

The Vanguard Synthetic Sub-MOA TR features a cold hammer forged barrel,
meaning a machine carefully pushed a mandrel through it to rifle the
bore. The process produces an accurately shooting and very durable bore. The Synthetic
Sub-MOA TR features an aluminum bedded Monte Carlo composite stock with a
beavertail forearm. By
bedding the stock in a layer of aluminum, reduced barrel-to-stock stress
can be achieved, resulting in better overall accuracy. The Synthetic
Sub-MOA TR also includes a fully adjustable trigger factory-set to an
average of 3.15 pounds. A cocking indicator that allows the shooter to
visually verify the rifle is cocked or uncocked. The bolt has a fluted body, which reduces
weight and surface area. And, the Vanguard Synthetic Sub-MOA TR has a Pachmayr Decelerator brand recoil pad.

Weatherby recommends the Vanguard Synthetic Sub-MOA TR for home protection.
