What purpose does an external safety have on a DAO long heavy triggered pocket pistol? My 442 doesn't have it, my LCR doesn't have it, my LCP doesn't have it.
The LC9 should not either.
Looks hands down goes to Ruger but for a functional piece my money's on Beretta. I'm a fan of both brands equally but I'm disappointed with Ruger's external safety. If it can be easily removed I would reconsider. Haven't looked into that because my CC 9mm is already covered by Walther PPS.
