Marlin 336: A Perfect 30-30 Lever Action Carbine
"I cannot not imagine not having a 336, but like the article states the new ones are not the quality of older ones. I only have 2 336's but thay are the older modles and they are great I have only been useing them for about 30 years and they look almost as good as new and function the same way. I think once this company buys out all the American Gunmakers they will do away with all civillian sales and then dry up all civillian ammuntiion............just saying....... "
What is the Greatest Handgun Cartridge of All Time?
"I have been a fan of the .357 Mag. since 1972. It is the easiest most versatile cartridge ever to reload in rifle or revolver. If you need more power than an .357 for personnal protection I don't want to be in your shoes. I think the best feature is that you can use .38 spl. in most any gun that can fire the .357 mag. It is just a do all cartidge Elmer Keith knew exactly what we needed and I am so thankful to him. I carried a .357 Mag as a duty weapon from 1975 until 2008 and I never felt under gunned. It just one hell of a cartdrige in my opiniion................. "
