Colt has a long, proud history of bringing the world some of the finest and most innovative firearms. The company has perfected manufacturing processes by seamlessly combining the exceptional skills of professional craftsmen with the precision of modern technological advances.
Currently, Colt manufactures more than a dozen different kinds of modern sporting rifles in four different calibers. However, we offer out-of-production and models with otherwise limited availability and even more unique selections in our Collector’s Corner.
Popular Colt rifles come from the M4 Carbine series, the AR-15 series, the 7.62 Modular Carbine series, and the AR-15 Military Classics.
The M4 Carbine is a gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO/ 223 Rem and currently manufactured in five different variants. It is similar to the combat-proven M4 and delivers the reliability, performance, and accuracy that come to be expected from Colt.
Colt’s AR-15 series includes the popular AR15A4. This modern sporting rifle features a simple yet effective design with a wallet-friendly price tag. The AR15A4 is also available in a lightweight model and a 9mm variant.
The 7.62 Modular Carbine features a revolutionary design that enables the upper receiver group to be easily swapped for any Colt MilSpec upper chambered in 5.56 NATO/ 223 Rem. This can be done in under a minute without the use of any tools. A slew of ambidextrous features offers flexibility and ease of use for left-handed and right-handed users.
Colt’s AR-15 Military Classics line includes popular semi-auto rifles like the M4A1 Socom and the XM177E2 Retro Carbine. The M4A1 SOCOM closely replicates the markings and configurations of the U.S. military carbine of the same name, while the Retro Carbine is built to the specifications of the original Colt Model 629 of the 1960s.
High quality and superior craftsmanship don’t make the M4 Carbine series untouchable. An affordable option, these rifles start at around $850 new and can go up to about $1,400. Another wallet-friendly rifle, Colt’s AR-15 series sells for right around $1,000. The 7.62 Modular Carbine series and M4A1 SOCOM both have a price tag of about $1,500, while the XM177E2 Retro Carbine hovers at around $2,600.
Used Colt rifles sell for significantly less, and the Guns.com Outlet offers unbeatable, rock-bottom prices on new and used Colt rifles and other firearms for sale.
