Pietta produces for E.M.F. is the 1873 Great Western II which pays homage to the numerous and notorious gunfighters of the Old West. A cowboy's preferred sidearm of the wild west was the Colt Single-Action Army dubbed the Peacemaker. It was in the hands of lawmen and outlaws alike. It was popular with ranchers and barkeeps and came in many different styles and configurations. The 1873 GWII model was E.M.F.'s way of allowing you to transport back in time and get a feel for what shooting an old Colt would be like.
