This revolver is available in several calibers with the frame made from aerospace-grade aluminum for 22 LR 22 Mag and 38 Special or stainless steel for 357 Mag 9mm and 327 Federal Mag. The cylinder of the stainless steel models are fluted to reduce weight and treated with a PVD finish for increased durability. The patented polymer fire-control housing keeps everything in its proper place and also aids in reducing weight and felt recoil while the patented friction-reducing cam design offers a smooth non-stacking trigger pull from the LCR.
