It features a 5-round capacity lightweight alloy frame and stainless steel barrel and cylinder shrouded hammer synthetic grip and steel ramp front and fixed rear sights. Chambered in 38 Special its also rated for continuous P use while the snag-free design and easy handling make the Model 638 a popular choice for concealed carry.
