The Colt 1991 is a semi-automatic handgun and direct descendant of the original M1911. Available in a number of calibers and finishes, this pistol, like the 1911, has a spur hammer, flat mainspring housing, and long trigger, as well as a grip and thumb safety. Other features include a lowered ejection port and 3-dot sights. The 1991 is built on a carbon steel frame and slide and proven a reliable and rugged pistol that’s suitable for self-defense.
