First introduced in 1962, the Browning Challenger is a .22lr rimfire handgun that was popular among outdoorsman as a backpack pistol and recreational shooter for decades until production finally ceased in the mid 80’s. This pistol was manufactured by FN Belgium in 1969 and is a collectible Browning handgun that is equally as fun to shoot.

Manufactured in Belgium, the Browning Challenger is a semi-automatic handgun that was made from 1962 to 1985, then in 1976 evolved into the Challenger II and III. Chambered in .22 LR with a 10+1 capacity, this pistol was available in different barrel lengths. It features checkered hardwood grips and a gold trigger, as well as post front and adjustable notch target rear sights.
