The Heckler Koch Mark 23 is a short-recoil semi-automatic pistol used by USSOCOM. The Mark 23 features a 5.87 barrel with polygonal bore machined steel slide with extended release fiber-reinforced polymer frame corrosion resistant blued finish recoil reduction system match grade trigger with oversized guard ambidextrous magazine release lock-out safety device and loaded chamber indicator. This pistol can be carried cocked and locked and may be fitted with a suppressor. As the Mark 23 is designed for offense it is intentionally designed heavier (39.36 oz) for accuracy retention.
