Product Information & Specs

The VP Series is Heckler Kochs first striker-fired HK since the P7 series pistols introduced in the 1980s. It is well-suited for civilian sport shooting security military and law enforcement use. The VP Series integrates a striker firing system with an enhanced HK light pull trigger. HKs cold hammer-forged barrel made from cannon grade steel ensures long service life as does the polygonal bore profile which also provides a slight increase in muzzle velocity. Slide releases are present on both sides of the frame and the paddle-style magazine release can be easily activated by left- or right-handed shooters. A unique VP feature is HKs patented rear-mounted charging supports on each side of the slide provide better gripping leverage for racking the slide rearward. The machined steel slide is protected from corrosion and wear by HKs hostile environment finish and all metal components including springs and pins have superior metallurgy. VP SK subcompact models feature a more concealable design with a shorter barrel abbreviated Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail and a compact grip frame which retains the adjustable VP grip feature of interchangeable backstraps and lateral grip panels. SK models can also use a variety of HK magazines - compact double stack 10- and 13-round with flat or extended floorplates in addition to proven HK P30 steel magazines. This model features an FDE frame with a black slide. It comes equipped with night sights and includes one flat base and two extended floorplate 10-round magazines.

PEACE OF MIND
PEACE OF MIND

Shopping at Guns.com gives you the backing of a company that is committed to your satisfaction.  And unlike our competitors, it extends beyond the buying process.  We get the FFL from your store – others make you find it, copy it, and fax it.  We have a generous return policy, and handle everything – you don’t have to go back to the store.  And our Rangemasters are here to answer all your questions about our products or process.  We're bringing a level of service to the online gun buying experience that is unheard of.

WE SUPPORT LOCAL GUN
STORES
WE SUPPORT LOCAL GUN STORES

Many online gun sales actually take away from your local community.  Instead of buying a gun that’s on your local store’s shelf, most retailers drop ship it from a warehouse in another state.  At Guns.com, if an FFL is part of our network, we sell THEIR guns first whenever possible.  That way, we’re helping small businesses in your community AND if they have it in stock, you can pick your gun up IMMEDIATELY – it’s how business should be done.

WE KEEP IT SIMPLE
WE KEEP IT SIMPLE

Most everything can be easily bought online these days.  But for some reason, buying a gun online can be complicated.  Most websites are poorly organized, don’t tell you a lot about what you’re buying, and leave you on your own to figure out what you want.  Guns.com is built to be simple – easily organized products, useful descriptions from experts, and support to guide you to the right choice.  Spend your time enjoying the gun you want, not getting frustrated with a complex website that makes gun buying hard.
