The Smith & Wesson Model 59 is a family of semi-automatic pistols chambered in 9mm. Initially designed for, though not adopted by, the U.S. Navy, the Model 59 has an anodized aluminum frame and a blued carbon steel slide. A 4“ barrel is adorned with either fixed or adjustable iron sights. The Model 59 features three-piece grips consisting of two nylon panels joined together by a metal backstrap.
