Chambered in 40 S&W, the Smith & Wesson M&P40 Shield is an ultra-compact version of the full-sized M&P40. Made with a polymer frame and stainless steel chassis, barrel, and slide, the striker-fired, semi-automatic handgun features an optional thumb safety, single stack magazine, and 3-dot sights.

Disassembly can be done without pulling the trigger, thanks to a patented take-down lever and sear deactivation system. Dependability, along with a slim and lightweight design, make the M&P40 Shield an ideal weapon for concealed carry.
