The SIG Sauer P226 is a full-sized, double action or DAK, semi-automatic handgun similar to the P220 but with a double-stack magazine and higher capacity. Chambered in 9mm (9x19), 40 S&W, 357 SIG, and 22 LR, capacities range from 10 to 20 rounds, depending on the model and caliber. The frame is hard-anodized for added durability, ergonomic grips offer a positive hold, and newer models come with a built-in Picatinny rail on the underside of the frame. Manufactured for more than three decades, the P226 is trusted by military and law enforcement personnel worldwide.
