Dependable durable and accurate the SIG Sauer P220 is a full-size semi-automatic double-single action handgun available in 45 ACP and 10mm. The aluminum frame is black hard-coat anodized and has a Picatinny rail while the stainless steel slide has a Nitro finish. Cleaning and maintenance is made easier with the tool-free disassembly and exceptional ergonomics and balance add to ease of use. Manufactured with military and police in mind the P220 also makes a suitable weapon for personal defense and is available in a Carry version that offers a shorter barrel and slide.

The modern SIG SAUER pistol story began with the P220. In 1976 the .45 ACP P220 was introduced and quickly became recognized as one of the most accurate 45s right out of the box. Since that time the P220 has earned an enviable record in hot spots around the world.
