The forged frame and slide, the heart and soul of all Springfield Armory 1911 pistols, sets this gun apart. Its checkered thinline wood grips of the Garrison 1911 give shooters an attractive and rock-solid interface with the pistol. Providing shooters with a low-profile, yet high-visibility sighting system, the three-dots of the Garrison 1911 help ensure you get hits on target. The 5-inch stainless steel barrel on the Garrison is forged from stainless steel and is machined to competition standards.
