With a grip width of only .9”, the XD-S 3.3” is optimized for concealed carry. It shares several of the XD models’ features including its polymer frame, fiber optic front sight, and forged steel barrel and slide in a Melonite finish. This single stack semi-automatic pistol is distinguished by its pre-set trigger and disassembly fail-safe. The 45 ACP has a 5+1 capacity and weighs 21.5 ozs; the 40 S&W has a 6+1 capacity and weighs 22 ozs; the 9mm has a 7+1 capacity and weighs 23 ozs. The XD-S 3.3” may be fitted with a Mid-Mag X-Tension magazine for increased capacity over its flush fitting one.
