The Springfield Armory XD 3” Sub-Compact offers the ergonomics and reliability characteristic of the full-size XD line, and its 3” hammer forged steel barrel and compact frame make it optimal for concealed carry. With its X-Tension magazine the semi-automatic XD 3” Sub-Compact sports a 16+1 9mm capacity, or 13+1 with its flush-fitting magazine, and 12+1 and 9+1 in 40 S&W, respectively. Its loaded chamber indicator, striker status indicator, grip safety, and Ultra Safety Assurance Action Trigger System make the XD 3” Sub-Compact a safer gun to use. Additional features include its durable polymer frame, Melonite-coated slide and barrel, and three dot steel sights.
