The GLFA AR-15, chambered in .223 Wylde, is a meticulously designed semi-automatic rifle capable of accurately firing both .223 REM and 5.56 NATO ammunition. This model features a 16-inch Heavy Barrel (HBAR) with a 1:8 twist and 1/2 x 28 threading, tailored for shooters seeking precision and versatility. Finished in a striking Battleworn Black Cherry Cerakote, this rifle combines aesthetic appeal with high functionality. Constructed with an Aluminum 7075 frame and a 0.750 gas block with a Black Oxide finish, it offers durability and reliable operation.
This rifle is equipped with M4 feed ramps for smooth feeding and a carbine gas tube for consistent cycling, enhancing its performance in various shooting conditions. The Mil-spec, polymer grip and a 15.25" Aluminum 6061 handguard with a full Picatinny rail provide a comfortable handling experience and ample customization options for accessories.
The included forward-angled muzzle brake, designed for reduced recoil, improves control and accuracy without the need for Loctite, thanks to its wrench-tightened installation. Despite the absence of an ambidextrous safety, this rifle remains user-friendly and straightforward in design, with a Mil-spec trigger offering a reliable 5.5-6 lb pull for consistent shot placement.
