Trusted for more than two centuries, Remington is America’s oldest gunmaker. The company currently makes semi-automatic, pump-action, and tactical shotguns for every purpose, from competition, hunting, and home defense, to military and law enforcement applications.
Remington manufacturing has a humble beginning that goes back over 200 years to when Eliphalet Remington believed he could make a gun better than what he could buy. His idea proved accurate, and today, Remington remains one of the most trusted names in firearms.
Today, the company manufactures half a dozen different shotguns, each with numerous variants and hundreds of options. Remington’s shotguns are made for all types of hunting, as well as recreation, competition, and home security.
A highly versatile shotgun with a proven design, the Remington Model 870 is the best-selling shotgun of all time. The company expanded on its success with this model and now offers over two dozen variants built on the time-tested action of the 870, including the 870 Express, 870 Wingmaster, and many more. Other popular Remington shotguns include the 1100, 11-87, and Versa Max.
Produced for over five decades, the Remington 1100 is a gas-operated, semi-automatic shotgun that combines a proven action with elegance and modern style. Available in 12-gauge and other sizes, this gun offers a high gloss checkered walnut stock and forend alongside a polished and blued receiver and vent rib barrel.
Based on the 1100 and first manufactured more than 30 years ago, the 11-87 was made to reduce felt recoil with a self-compensating gas system. It has a 4+1 capacity and is available in 20- and 12-Ga.
The Versa Max is a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun that has significantly reduced felt recoil thanks to the Versaport system and the SuperCell Recoil Pad. It additionally boasts corrosion-resistant parts, as well as quick and easy disassembly. The Versa Max is available in more than half a dozen different variants.
Like most firearms, the cost of Remington shotguns for sale varies greatly and is determined by several factors. However, with both new and used models available, we have products for almost any budget.
The Remington 870 Express and Model 783 start at around $300 on our website. Likewise, the Versa Max Competition Tactical sells for about $1,300, while several shotguns fall at prices in between those mentioned.
