Seller Description
Up for sale is a nice shooter grade CE44 code German K98 Mauser.
This rifle was produced by JP Sauer in 1944 in Sauer's last full year of production. This rifle is mismatched but it does have a great condition bore.
Mechanically this rifle is in great shape. However, the stock is experiencing some dry seperation at places. This comes from the laminate material drying out over the last 80 years.
If you notice in the pictures it is mostly surface seperations with the worst being on the tang at the rear of the receiver. These seperations all appear to be surface in nature and no deep within the stock.
