It has the patented LBA trigger which is user adjustable from 2 lbs to 7 lbs. It has spiral-fluted bolts with knurl pattern to ensure smooth, comfortable and reliable cycling. It has a 20" barrel with recessed crown to ensure accuracy and durability. It comes with a dropbox magazine for convenient loading and unloading. This model comes with a 3-9x40mm scope and no sights. The Mossberg Patriot Youth rolls the accuracy affordability and other well-loved features of the Patriot in a youth-sized bolt-action rifle. Still offering box magazines a recessed target crown fluted barrel and spiral fluted bolt with ergonomic bolt handle the Patriot Youth comes with a Weaver scope base as well as Mossbergs patented adjustable trigger system which allows the user to adjust anywhere from a 2- to 7-pound pull. It also offers a two-position safety.
