The Ruger American Compact is a bolt-action rifle that offers the features of the standard American rifle with a shorter barrel and shorter length of pull. The lightweight ergonomic design of the synthetic stock along with the contoured fore-end and serrated grip present a positive hold while the Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release. Other features include a free-floating barrel that is cold hammer-forged for durability and easy cleaning flush-fit rotary magazines recoil-reducing soft rubber buttpad and tang safety. The American Compact is an ideal rifle for the smaller-statured shooter or those dressed in heavy outerwear.
