Product Information & Specs

The Winchester Model 70 Sporter is a traditional-style bolt action sporting rifle with polished metal surfaces. The Sporter features a satin finish grade I cut checkered walnut stock with deluxe cheekpiece, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. It additionally features a forged steel receiver with bedded recoil lug, cold hammer forged free-floated barrel with recessed target crown, pre-1964 style controlled round feed claw extractor, blade-type ejector, and three position safety. The Sporter has a M.O.A. trigger system to eliminate creep and overtravel.

The Winchester 70 XTR Sporter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag. A 24" barrel is equipped with a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 adjustable objective scope. A leather sling is attached to a handsome wooden stock for easier carry when out hunting.
