The firearm also features HIPERFIRE’s Enhanced Trigger unit that maintains the duty-standard 5.5-pound trigger pull while greatly improving trigger response. This is paired with Modern Materiel’s Exit V2 Muzzle Brake that is designed to eliminate recoil while allowing for Griffin Armament suppressors and blast deflectors to be installed without the need of tools.
The 16 Patrol features a custom profile 16-inch barrel with a mid-length gas system and a 1:8-inch twist along with Modern Materiel’s new Gen4 free-float handguard. The Gen4 handguard provides a wealth of customization space with a full top Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots along the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. The rifle comes equipped with B5 Systems’ Bravo stock, TYPE-22 pistol grip, and enlarged polymer trigger guard. One 30-round Magpul PMAG is included.
