The Russian State Factories SKS is a semi-automatic rifle with a self-loading short-stroke piston action. First manufactured in 1945, this rifle is chambered in 7.62x39mm with a capacity ranging from 10 to 30 rounds. It has a 20.51” barrel, overall length of 40.2”, and weighs 8.51 pounds, and also offers hooded front post and tangent rear notch sights. Although the design of the SKS is relatively simple, this robust rifle is well-built and easy to use and maintain.
