The Springfield Armory M6 Scout is a break-action, over-under survival gun with a foldable stock. It is nearly identical to the M6 Aircrew Survival Weapon. The M6 Scout features a rifle barrel over a shotgun barrel and is chambered in 22 LR/ 410 bore, 22 Hornet/ 410 bore, 22 Magnum/ 410 bore. Made from steel, this survival gun is available with a stainless or Parkerized finish. Earlier models of the M6 Scout feature a 14-inch barrel, but an 18.25-inch barrel followed the National Firearms Act. Later models of the M6 Scout also feature an oversized trigger guard and a Picatinny rail.
