A rugged workhorse, the Remington 870 Special Purpose Marine Magnum is a highly durable pump-action 12-gauge shotgun built to meet the needs of the United States Marines and made to resist corrosion on land or water while delivering legendary pointability and accuracy. The synthetic stock has checkering for positive control, while the receiver is milled from a solid billet of steel, the twin action bars offer smooth and reliable, non-binding action, and the metal is plated with Electroless nickel inside and out for durability. Other features of the 870 Special Purpose Marine Magnum include a 18.5-inch barrel with cylinder choke, rubber recoil-reducing pad, and sling swivel studs.
