Stoeger Airguns New .22 Caliber Pellet Air Rifle

When the wind gets to whipping and the snow starts piling up, there’s nothing quite like a good air rifle and an unobstructed basement to help to stave off the got-to-go-shooting jitters.  Stoeger Airguns has been in the arena of making high end, European-style airguns for years now and their attention to detail and proliferation of option packages is on par with any one of the big caliber sporting arms makers.

Recently, they added a .22 caliber—the largest caliber peashooter they’ve ever offered—to their already substantial line of quality airguns.  Like we said, this ain’t your childhood Red Ryder.  These are modern airguns safe enough for DIY plinking with the kids and powerful enough for varmint hunting.

Hewed for ergonomics, the ambidextrous Monte Carlo-style buttstock features cheek pieces on both sides of the comb.  Stocks and fore-ends come in wood, Timber HD camo and black synthetic finishes.  The pistol grips and fore-ends also use their own brand of non-slip checkering.

Stoeger Airguns are not powered by costly CO2 cartridges or compressed air bottles, but rather make use of a fast break-barrel, spring and piston system.  The result is a piece that’s not only economical to shoot but simple to understand and dependable in function.

This .22 also comes with a variety of scope options.  Factory mounted rings are secured to a cross grooved dove-tail on the top of the receiver guaranteeing a wiggle free scope mount.
