LaserLyte is a renown maker of laser sights for handguns, rifles and shotguns, as well as boresighters and other accessories. And now they’re making frame-mounted laser sights for the very popular line of Bersa pistols, the Thunder .380.
The LaserLyte model CK-MS is compatible with the Thunder .380 and .380 Plus, the high-capacity Bersa .380 ACP.
This laser sight is made from hardened T6 aluminum and given a black chrome finish, for both durability and lookin’ fine. It clamps around the trigger guard and centers itself along the dust cover. It has ambidextrous activation controls on both sides of the sight, which can be programmed to run as either a solid beam or as a pulsing laser.
The laser, like many of LaserLyte’s, is rated to last for five hours of solid beam use and ten in pulse mode. The other specifications are:
Bersa’s .380s are easy to endorse based on their durability, longevity, and low price. Even when they break you can still shoot them. We consider them to be excellent bargains, and whether they’re your main pistol or one of many budget spares you have, this LaserLyte laser sight may be just the thing to light up what goes bump in the night.
Thunders are definitely budget handguns so it doesn’t make a great deal of sense to hang a super-expensive sight off of them; in that regard LaserLyte delivers. The MSRP of the model CK-MS is just $100, with some stores selling them for as little as $75.
We got in two of our best-selling Turkish imports from Landor Arms – the AR-style LND-117 shotgun and the bullpup BPX 902 – to give them a whirl on the range and see if the reliability could be paired with the affordable price.
