Wilson Combat Releases a New 1911 For Conceal Carry

Wilson Combat has released a 1911 chambered in .38 Super designed specifically to carry concealed; the Super Sentinel.

The barrel length on the new 1911 is just 3.6-inch long and, weighing it only 25.2 ounces empty, the new Super Sentinel is certainly concealable. Packing the punch of the .38 Super round, which, Wilson Combat’s website will tell you, “generates .357 magnum-level energy with every shot and exceeds the of +P+ 9mm rounds”.

The Super Sentinel comes from the factory with a checkered front-strap, 3.5-pound trigger pull, contoured magazine well, G10 Slimline Grips and a full length guide rod. A selection of front sights or rear sights is available when ordering the firearm, and different options such as an ambidextrous thumb safety, rear slide checkering, a fluted barrel or a high polish blue slide can be added for a little bit extra.
Considering that the base Super Sentinel in .38 Super has a base MSRP of $3,875 we’re guessing that the $50 for the ambidextrous safety isn’t going to be a big deal for lefties interested in this pistol.
