Popular handgun manufacturer Smith & Wesson is releasing a new firearm in their M&P line, or so it appears from a video released yesterday that is directed toward the conceal carry market.
Repeating the motto “Shield Yourself” and showing statistics such as “Every 1.7 second a person is victimized by crime in the United States”, “An assault occurs every nine seconds” and “Over 12,000 car jacking occur on our street annually” the ad is clearly targeted toward the U.S. concealed carry market.
According to Guns, Holsters and Gear Smith & Wesson’s Form 8-K quarterly filing showed that production of the new handgun has already begun, suggesting that the firearm will be ready to ship when the announcement is made. What will Smith & Wesson be showing us on April 12?
